1. Our policy
Soundyz respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the clips concerned. We may terminate access for repeat infringers.
2. How to report infringement
If you are a copyright owner, or authorized to act for one, and believe a clip on the Site infringes your rights, send a written notice to our designated agent containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed (a description or link to the original).
- The exact URL(s) of the clip(s) on soundy.cloud that you want removed, for example https://soundy.cloud/sound/example-12345.
- Your name, address, phone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

We aim to review valid notices promptly and usually act within 48–72 hours. Please note that knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing may make you liable for damages.

3. Other rights complaints
If a clip violates your trademark, privacy, personality or publicity rights, or contains your voice or likeness without permission, or is defamatory, email [email protected] with the clip URL, a description of the issue and proof of your identity or rights. We review these case by case and remove clips where appropriate.
4. Counter-notification
If you uploaded or are responsible for a clip we removed and believe it was removed by mistake, you may send a counter-notice including:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the removed clip and where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the clip was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, phone and email, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in your location (or [YOUR CITY / COUNTRY] if outside the US) and will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may forward it to the original complainant and may restore the clip in 10 to 14 business days unless they notify us that they have filed a court action.
5. Repeat infringers
We will, in appropriate circumstances, block users and sources that repeatedly infringe copyrights.
